550 Series Swing Study

When installing the 550 Pivot on doors over 1-3/4" or doors that will have cladding/trim installed on the door, It is important to know that the cladding could effect the swing of the door.

With Cladding/Trim

For cladding and trim up to1" You will need to bevel the cladding/trim as show in the diagram to the right. More Information can be found on the attached.

Doors thicker than 1-3/4"

We have tested these on doors up to 3" thick. Each door thickness and application may vary with the location of the pivot on the door to ensure proper clearance.
