Rights of Return

  1. Restrictions: Unless the Customer has a separate written agreement with Hager Companies, the return of product purchased from Hager is subject to the following restrictions:
    1. Authorized Returns Only: No credit will be issued for returned goods unless such return is authorized by our St. Louis office. All returns are subject to review and approval by Sales Management and will be handled on an account by account basis.
    2. Return Goods Authorization (RGA): Product will not be accepted unless it is accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization RGA). No RGA will be issued for less than $25.00.
    3. 35% Restocking Fee: All returns are subject to a minimum 35% handling and restocking fee at Hager Companies sole discretion.
    4. Timeline for Product Returns: The timeline for returns is as follows:
      1. North American Shipments(U.S., Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico)
        1. Notification to Hager – within 6 months from date of shipment.
        2. Receipt of return by Hager – within 60 days of notification to Hager.
      2. International Shipments 
        1. Notification to Hager - within 6 months from date of shipment.
        2. Receipt of return by Hager - within 120 days from notification. 
    5. Condition: Return goods, and packaging, must be in sellable condition or no credit will be issued, and goods will be destroyed.
    6. Direct Returns Only: Return goods authorization must be requested directly by the Hager Companies customer. Third party customers will not be allowed to return product and all unauthorized merchandise will be returned to the sender and the Hager customer will be invoiced for additional shipping charges incurred
  2. Return Shipping: Freight terms will be specified on the RGA. The Customer is responsible for shipping charges and risk of loss and damage on all return shipments.
  3. Replacement Order and Credit: The Customer may return product and Hager Companies will assist in its replacement or grant credit against future purchases in an amount equal to the original purchase price and freight paid for the product less any applicable restocking fees.
  4. Non-Returnable Merchandise: Returns are also subject to the additional policies below. If the Customer fails to return Product within the applicable return policy period or if the Product does not meet the criteria under this Return Policy, the Product is considered accepted by the Customer and not returnable



All items being returned must have a Hager Companies Return Goods Authorization Number. If the return meets the Hager Companies return guidelines, you may obtain an RGA # by contacting:
